The 7th annual Blossom Kite Festival on the grounds of the Washington Monument is a signature event during the National Cherry Blossom Festival. Within the flag ring surrounding the Washington Monument come and photograph the colorful kites as they swoosh through the sky. Be sure to not miss the expressions of people on the ground as they watch the performances of kite flying tricks and kite acrobatics.
